PVA Primer Sealer 1000

An odorless palyvinyl emulsion sealer for exterior of interiors — wallboard, plasterboard, plaster, accoustical tile, concrete, cement and cinder block, sneet rock and masonite. It lays down tho nap of fibrous wallboard.
PVA is an excellent sealer for all base paints. DO NOT USE as a First Coat under Rubber-Base Latex Finish. The most efficient sealer for Rubber-Base Latex Finish is a first coat of Rubber-Base Latex Finish itself.
PVA White Sealer is an excellent over-all sealer for use where multi-colored lacquers are to be applied. It is excellent for sealing patched areas in old painted walls so as to prevent (flashing) or «spotting» in the finish coat of oil paint.
Stir Well (By Hand) Before Using — Do not mix on an automatic paint shaker or with a mechanical stimer. Excessive agitation (bubbles) the Sealer. Stir slowly from the bottom of the can up and only enough for thorough mixing.
CAUTIONS: Do not add paint thinner or oil to this product. Thin only with water, if necessary. Although this product will freeze solid if exposed to low temperatures, it retains all its original properties when completely thawed. It should not be used where the surface.

KEEP FROM FREEZING — temperature is below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
Be sure that the surface is dry and clean. Apply by brush, paint roller or spray. Nylon brushes are especially suited for the brush application of this product. Always use a clean brush. If brush has been previously used in oil paints wash it out thoroughly in soap and water before using.
Apply liberally in a full-flowing coat Load the brush or roller well and use short strokes. Cover only a small section at a time. Do not attempt to (stretch’ this material.
This product may be tinted with water colors — but first try the color on a small test basis to see if it dispenses pro
perly. Do not add more than pint of tinting color per gallon. Drying time is from 1 to 2 hours depending on humidity conditions.
REPAINT WORK — Clean the sur-face thoroughly, removing all wax, polish, dirt, glue size, grease, water soluble paint and kalsomine. Patch cracks with spackling compound, let dry thoroughly and sand smooth before applying Sealer.
To Clean Brushes, Etc. — Do not permit Sealer to solidity in brush, roller or spray. Clean immediately after use with a detergent-type soap powder and water solution.
