WHERE A PRIMING COAT IS NEEDED
A Priming Coat must be applied before this finish is put on New Surfaces — such as New Plaster, New Burlap, New Canvas, New Wood and New Metal; also on Walls from which Wall Paper and Kalsomine have been removed; also newly .plastered cracks; also, over old Casein Paint and Flat Wall Paint because they are porous. But over an enameled, gloss, semi-gloss or other sealed surface, this finish may be applied with out a priming coat.
PRIMING COAT
On unpainted plaster, wood, metal or other new surfaces or on old surfaces from which paint, varnish, kalsomine or wall paper has been completely removed, use our pigmented sealer, undercoat or metal primer.
PREPARING OLD PAINTED WALLS
Scales and peels should be removed. Wipe off cobwebs, soot and loose dirt with soft, lint less cloth. For best results wash with warm water to which ammonia has been added. Wipe dry. Let dry thoroughly. Prime bare spots before painting.
PAINTING WOODWORK
On previously painted surfaces, clean and sand thoroughly to remove dirt, polish, wax, etc. and to lower the gloss. Apply this material in smooth, even strokes. On new wood, a priming coat must be applied.
NOULA super enamel paint must be thinned only with white spirit.
One U.S. gallon covers 50sqm per coat.
